Bingbing Li’s new song “Mama’s Baby” dedicated to the relief efforts
According to ent.sina.com.cn, Bingbing Li has recorded a new song, Baby Mama, dedicated to the mothers and children everywhere. This song has been an enormous success and has been listened 10 million times so far.

The news of Sichuan’s 8.0 earthquake has shocked all of China, with the sudden disaster and death of so many people, leaving every Chinese in a deep shock over the number of casualties. However during this time of crisis there are many touching stories with the most touching being those about the strength of maternal love. Many performing artists have launched their own relief songs to help at this time.
As one of the more enthusiastic celebrities committed to charities and public welfare, Bingbing Li, was informed about the earthquake news and at first gave her own money and materials to contribute to the relief efforts and has recorded a relief song “Mama Baby”, which focuses on a mother’s love for her child. Five year old children also sing and will being singing a “gift” song on June 1st which is International Children’s Day.
While recording the same day Bingbing Li and Yin Ling heard the children singing which caused them to choke up several times which interrupted the recording session. During this recording session the reported saw, that even though the song is happy tune, as the children sang Bingbing Li became choked up. In the following interview the reported asked and recorded the mixture of emotions that Bingbing Li has been facing. “This song is not just for the children of Changji,” she said, “but is at the same time also dedicated to the selfless devotion of loving [mothers]“. “Recently as we look beyond the amount of hard work that is going on in the relief efforts and pay close attention to the disaster area news, we need to be reminded that there are a lot of touching moments, and notice there are many touching stories of children involving the many helpful women who are care works, teachers and doctors who have sacrificed their own family needs to rush to the disaster areas and are committed to helping the relief efforts. I remember a mother in a mother who has placed an enormous burden on her own shoulders to help the children without complaint, and left messages for her own children… a female police officer feeding the children, providing help in light of a milk supply disaster, keeping these children happy, displaying such wonderful maternal love.”
On the latter part of the relief effort for the children, Bingbing Li also disclosed to reporters that it is also part of the current relief plans to set up their own funds and cooperation deals, in order to set up a fund for the children of those involved workers. But at the same time the task is more difficult than imagined. She was impassioned about gaining the support so that the relief workers can overcome the difficulties of these hurdles.
Bingbing Li’s song will be performing the song with the children singing alogn. It is a simple but moving song and touches on the great maternal love of womn, and reminds the children about how much their mothers care. “Mama’s Baby,” is a song that is being introduced over the Internet and to date has been viewed 10 million times.
In the interview, Bingbing Li said, “In the upcoming June 1st Children’s Day, I hope this song can be heard by all childrens and mothers in this catastrophe, many women have selflessly acted without complaint to help in these efforts, and this song is dedicated to those women who have dedicated themselves to the efforts to protect the children. If we we are to move beyond this great disaster we need to have firm faith and confidence.”

一心热心慈善公益事业的海蝶旗下艺人李冰冰得知地震的消息，第一时间内捐款捐物献出自己的一份爱心，并抽空进棚录制了一首关爱母亲与儿童的歌曲《妈妈宝贝》，海蝶森林五岁的小朋友恩恩也友情现唱，与李冰冰共同唱响这首特别为“六一国际儿童节”献礼的歌曲。
