According to sina.com.cn, there was a reveal of a new wax figurine by Madame Tussauds Wax Museum which has opened a branch in Shanghai. The interesting thing is the figurine is of none other than Li Bingbing. The problem is: from the looks of the picture it really does not seem to accurately portray Li Bingbing’s asian beauty, but looks more anglo in features. Hopefully Madame Tussauds will redo the face a bit. Do you agree? Look at the picture on the right and let us know if you think the figure looks a bit too non-asian.
This first one looks sort of asian. But not at all like Li Bingbing. However look at the second picture if you are not convinced.
So far the news about Miss Li Bingbing has been pretty scarce these last several weeks. However we did happen to come across an interesting video that seems to talk about Miss Li’s new music career. This looks like a pretty interesting video. Too bad we don’t speak Chinese or there would be a translation. However it’s still an interesting video. This was taken from the Chinese site, YouKu.com which really bears a “striking” resemblance to a certain popular video website owned by Google.com. Enjoy.
After watching Miss Li speaking it’s pretty good motivation to want to learn Chinese.
Sina.com.cn recently had an article (translation forthcoming) about Li Bingbing, with recent pictures of Miss Li from Cosmopolitan magazine. And if you find that Cosmo mag, go and out and buy it! Enjoy!

According to Sina.com.cn, Bingbing Li celebrated on a cruise ship her new deal as spokesperson for Shanghai cosmetics company, High Value. This is the third major endorsement for Miss Li and comes on the heels of a very successful last year wherein she has been signed on as spokesperson for Mercedes-Benz and MontBlanc. Although she is compared to Gong Li and Li Jiaxin, Bingbing Li also has quite a following and rapport with the younger generations.
Found this ad of the Forbidden Kingdom (2008) DVD which will be coming to both Blue-Ray and DVD on September 9th. Interesting is the 728×90 ad that is now featured on the gallery section of the site. If you missed seeing the ad here is a screen capture it.
